KIN

Aphrodesiacs & The Tantric Way of the Earth

A MONTHLY space of EARTH CONNECTION .
Weaving a reciprocal relationship with our human and beyond human kin.

To be in an intimate relationship with the Earth + the elements on a spiritual + energetic level requires you to open yourself - your senses, your presence, your awareness, your emotions, your heart - and experience life here, where sensuality becomes a doorway into a more intimate living experience, a gateway to the spirit world of the Earth, ourselves, each other + beyond.

This month, we make our way deeper into Fall/the season of Water, with the invitation to slow down and let go. We call in the Aphrodisiac plants of the Earth that bring us into a yin flow, work with the element of water within our bodies, and open our receptivities and sensitivities to help connect deeper to the earth as beloved and the sweetness of life with human and beyond human kin.

May this space serve whatever intention you’d like to receive for yourself. May it be a space of connection + healing + beauty + joy + liberation.

I look forward to gathering with you and the plants this month!

See you in class <3

Land Communion Meditation

  • Come as you are. Set up in a quiet and comfortable space where you will be undisturbed. Have support you may need to sit for meditation.

Infuse your plant for tea. Depending on your plant, maybe you would want to do an overnight infusion, or simply infuse for 20 minutes before. If you don't know for your plant, please reach out and I can help!

    • Your tea.

    • incense/sacred smoke + a light.

    • a journal + pen.

Tea Meditation

Candlelit Aphrodesia Ritual

An evening of tending the body with the plants.

Make a plant spirit bath infusion just before our ritual and let it infuse in a pot on the stove (turned off) while body oil - and then you will bathe with your infusion after our ritual.

  • Your Self:
Come with freshly cleansed skin from the shower/bath. Not your plant bath, but simply rinse and with some soap so your skin is clean for oiling.

We will oil the hair so you may want to give it a little brush before.

Wear a robe or something loose that you will take off later to be naked for oiling. Arrive with Camera on and then I will invite you to take the camera off if you’d like to once we begin.

    Your Space:
Create a beauty temple space in whatever way feels good to you. Light some candles and be in the dark if you’d like to.

maybe you want some fresh flowers, candles lit all around, cleanse the space with some smoke, etc.

Set up cozy on the floor if you are able to - and lay a towel down with some space to stretch out your body for oiling.

  • FOR THE SHOWER:

    1) Make a strong infusion as you do your tea - with a large glass jar + lid - with about double the amount of plant you would use for your tea (about 2 small handfulls) - or you can make this in a pot on the stove.

    2) Use hot water but not fully boiled.

    3) Place lid on and let infuse for 20 minutes or more. (I like to start this infusion a few hours before my bath later to let infuse for a long time.)

    4) Bring a jar of the infusion into the shower with you and take the lid off to allow it to cool down if needed.

you can also add some cold water to the jar if it is still too hot. Please be careful.

    5) Bathe with soap first as you wish.

    6) After you are bathed - hold your sacred waters at your heart and call in the spirit of the plant and share your intentions.

    7) Pour the sacred waters over your head, body, wherever you wish.

    8) Do not rinse off - allow yourself to be covered in your plants water.

    9) Pat dry + tune in to the essence of having your plant on your skin for the rest of the day or night.

*You can also simply just add a glass jar of your tea infusion to your bath as well. It does not have to be so strong or elaborate to commune. Play + experience it all.

    FOR THE BATH

    1) Use a large pot with a lid.

    2) Place a handful or two of your plant in the pot and fill with water.

    3) Lid and heat on the stove on low - once water gets up to a warm/hot temperature of your liking, take the stove off and leave the flowers to infuse for about 20+ minutes.  If you will let it infuse for a couple hours, bring to a boiland then turn the stove off and let it infuse for a while. I personally start my plant bath infusion a couple hours before I know I’ll bathe later than night.

4)Add to your bath water along with the infused plant material.

    5) Add in some extra dried flowers + petals if you desire. enjoy <3

    6) Do not rinse off - allow yourself to be covered in your plants water.

    7) Pat dry + tune in to the essence of having your plant on your skin for the rest of the day or night.

*You can also simply just add a glass jar of your tea infusion to your bath as well. It does not have to be so strong or elaborate to commune. Play + experience it all.

    • Tea of your plant.

    • A body Oil, hair oil, face oil of your choice. Can be the same oil for all. Maybe something scented with an aphrodesiac.

    • Sacred Smoke + light.

    • Towel laid down for oiling.

Plant Talk

Plant Talk deep dive into the plants you’re working with. We will talk all about each of the plants, their medicine and magik. This will be nice to do before our medicine making - so you can see if any of the other plants call to you to include in your medicine.

Bring a cup of your tea and a journal + pen to take notes if you’d like.
